IMS Performance and Back Office Engineer

About the role

The IMS Performance and Back Office Engineer is responsible for monitoring and improving the performance of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core network. You will analyse key performance indicators, troubleshoot complex incidents and support service restoration to ensure high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse IMS KPIs, traffic patterns and service quality metrics to detect degradation, capacity issues and optimisation opportunities.
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting and fault isolation for complex IMS incidents affecting service continuity.
• Lead root‑cause analysis activities and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate signalling and service behaviour during major incidents and recurring issues.
• Support operational changes, maintenance and restoration plans in coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, investigation reports and follow‑up records for governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IMS performance monitoring, technical support or back‑office operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
