About the role
The In-House Logistics Coordinator acts as DHL’s on‑site representative at a key customer’s premises. The role ensures smooth daily operations, high‑quality customer experience, and effective coordination between the customer and DHL teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly, and solution‑oriented support as a DHL ambassador, handling customer requests promptly and maintaining high service satisfaction.
- Maintain strong communication with the customer on import and export shipment inquiries.
- Prepare and issue Air Waybills (AWBs) directly from the customer site and track shipments, delivering accurate updates.
- Collaborate closely with DHL Sales to protect, grow, and retain the allocated business.
- Support invoice follow‑up by liaising between DHL Finance and the customer’s finance team.
- Participate in wider DHL initiatives such as mailshots and customer communications, sharing insights to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- University degree required.
- Logistics experience is a plus.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficient in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Effective email communication.
