Incident Management Engineer – Fixed Network Services

About the role

We are looking for a technically capable and customer‑focused Incident Management Engineer to resolve standard and complex technical issues for Vodafone Germany fixed‑line products, including Internet, MPLS, VOIP and cloud solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced, customer‑critical environment, ensuring service excellence through strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault troubleshooting, identification and resolution for enterprise customers.
• Resolve incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements and meet defined Key Performance Indicators.
• Collaborate with internal competence teams, carriers and third‑party partners to ensure timely ticket resolution.
• Operate within a 24/7 shift rota, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and network operations within IP‑based complex solutions.
• Foundational knowledge of IP and voice technologies, including routing, switching and IP services such as DNS and DHCP.
• Understanding of Vodafone fixed, mobile and convergence products is advantageous.
• Strong customer orientation and effective communication skills.
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level, written and spoken).
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
