Indirect Purchasing Expert

About the role

We are looking for an Indirect Purchasing Expert to join our procurement team in Cairo. You will be responsible for shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships and delivering cost‑saving initiatives across indirect categories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with BSH quality, sustainability and cost‑efficiency standards.
• Manage the full procurement cycle – from RFQs/RFIs and tenders to contract award and purchase order execution.
• Drive category savings and monitor key performance indicators to ensure compliant and transparent processes.
• Lead negotiations, contract management and supplier performance improvement programmes.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment, continuous process improvement and adherence to internal KPIs.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of purchasing experience in a multinational, industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, indirect categories and e‑procurement.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
