Infant Teacher

About the role

SABIS is seeking a dedicated Infant Teacher to join its early‑learning team. You will deliver the SABIS curriculum to young learners, fostering a supportive environment that encourages academic and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned infant classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans when needed.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor exams and ensure a well‑managed testing environment.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, lunch and bus organization, traffic control, and other administrative tasks.
• Prepare and participate in student life activities, including art, open houses, and physical education.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering results.
• Excellent communication skills.
