Instructor – Fitness for Service (API 579) Overview Course

About the role

The successful candidate will act as an Instructor for a five‑day classroom course on “Fitness for Service (API 579) Overview” in Turkmenistan. The training, delivered in English, targets Maintenance and Asset Integrity personnel in the oil & gas sector and covers the fundamentals, standards and evaluation methods of Fitness‑for‑Service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver the full 5‑day curriculum in English.
• Present and explain API 579‑1/ASME FFS‑1 (2021) standards, lifecycle management principles and assessment techniques.
• Prepare training materials, case studies and practical exercises.
• Engage participants, answer technical questions and assess learning outcomes.
• Coordinate logistics with the client and ISS International for the onsite training.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Asset Integrity and Fitness‑for‑Service roles within the oil & gas industry.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a classroom or on‑the‑job trainer.
• Demonstrated expertise in the topics covered by the course.
• Fluent English communication skills.
