Interior Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in the construction sector. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to turn visions into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces across residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify needs and preferences for interior spaces.
• Develop cohesive design concepts that balance functionality and aesthetics.
• Create detailed design plans, including layouts, colour schemes, materials, and furnishings.
• Produce 2D and 3D visualisations using design software to present concepts.
• Source and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) according to design requirements.
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper implementation and address installation issues.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, delivering on schedule and within scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in interior design, preferably within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Creative problem‑solving ability with a strong aesthetic sense.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of completed design projects.
