Internal Audit Manager – Lead Risk‑Based Audits

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services that enhance governance, risk management and internal controls across the organization. You will lead a team of auditors, develop risk‑based audit plans and work closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute an annual risk‑based internal audit plan aligned with IIA standards and ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead all phases of audit engagements – planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, reporting and follow‑up.
• Conduct continuous auditing, thematic reviews and post‑implementation assessments using analytical techniques.
• Engage with senior management and functional leaders to evaluate control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with the Internal Audit Charter and keep audit policies, procedures and methodologies up to date.
• Collaborate with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) functions to align assurance activities.
• Document and communicate findings, root causes and corrective action plans.
• Perform special audits, investigations and ad‑hoc reviews as directed.

Required profile

• Professional judgment and due care in identifying emerging risks and control deficiencies.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Experience applying IIA Standards, IPPF and risk‑based auditing methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Data analytics for audit testing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 audit requirements.
