Internal Audit Manager – Pharmaceutical Sector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead audit activities within our pharmaceutical/retail pharma operations in Cairo. The role focuses on safeguarding operational integrity, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute internal audit plans covering financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Lead process automation initiatives to improve audit efficiency.
• Oversee process validation activities to meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor controls.
• Mentor and develop audit team members.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations and Management to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare and present audit reports with actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• 10–16 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the pharmaceutical or retail pharma sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing audit teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in pharma.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and process automation.
