Internal Audit Supervisor – Hospitality Sector

About the role

Hwaidak Investment Group is looking for two experienced Internal Audit Supervisors to strengthen governance and risk management across its diversified portfolio, which includes hospitality, tourism, healthcare, marine, real estate, and investment operations. The role is based in Hurghada, Egypt, with regular travel to other group locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise internal audit assignments across all group entities.
• Assess compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and internal control frameworks.
• Lead inventory counts, stock audits, variance analysis and operational reviews.
• Review audit workpapers and reports to ensure quality and adherence to internal audit standards.
• Develop audit programs, risk registers and risk‑control matrices.
• Conduct assurance, compliance, operational, financial, fraud investigation and special audits.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and prepare audit findings for senior management.
• Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and governance practices.

Required profile

• Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk or assurance functions.
• Previous experience with a Big Four firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG).
• Hospitality industry experience (hotels, resorts or related groups).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
