Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to join our finance team. The successful candidate will evaluate internal controls, detect irregularities, and help improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit procedures according to the annual audit plan on a sampling basis.
• Report audit findings to the Internal Audit Supervisor and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess the adequacy of internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Review financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Update process flowcharts and documentation when changes occur, evaluating the impact on controls.
• Interview employees, supervisors, and management to gather facts and propose solutions.
• Conduct studies and analyses to enhance financial and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 2–3 years of experience in internal audit or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of internal control concepts and audit standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint.
