International Procurement Senior Specialist

About the role

Minapharm Pharmaceuticals is seeking an International Procurement Senior Specialist to lead sourcing, vendor evaluation and contract management for raw materials and packaging across its global operations. The role ensures cost‑effective, high‑quality purchases that support the company’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers according to Minapharm criteria, conducting preliminary evaluations and regular 3‑D vendor assessments.
• Negotiate contracts, evaluate tenders, and manage legal, payment and risk aspects of supplier agreements.
• Issue purchase orders, monitor delivery compliance for cost, quality, quantity and specifications.
• Track shipping documents, coordinate logistics, customs clearance and ensure timely receipt of materials at the warehouse.
• Maintain Oracle reports on raw material and packaging stock levels, and oversee inventory management, including retest and near‑expiry items.
• Collaborate with finance, logistics, registration and technical teams to align procurement activities with import plans and product specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international procurement, vendor evaluation and contract negotiation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, import procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, logistics, quality and technical departments.
