International Sales Accountant – Food Industry

About the role

The International Sales Accountant will manage billing, revenue recording, and accounts‑receivable processes for Al Amal’s food‑industry sales. The role ensures accurate invoicing, timely collection of payments, and strict compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on contracts, applying correct pricing, VAT and other tax requirements.
• Monitor and follow up on payment collections, resolve outstanding issues, and record receivables in the financial system.
• Compile monthly and annual financial reports that reflect sales performance, revenue achievement and cash collection.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast future revenue and support financial planning.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply and other departments to align financial information with operational needs.
• Audit sales‑related transactions for accuracy, ensure compliance with accounting policies and tax laws, and support external auditors.
• Identify process improvements such as invoicing automation or payment‑tracking enhancements and propose recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• 5–10 years of experience in international sales accounting within the food or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost structures, revenue recognition and relevant accounting standards.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyse financial statements, sales reports and account reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP system.
• Experience using accounting software and related digital tools.
