Inventory Officer

About the role
The Inventory Officer will manage purchasing records, monitor stock movements, and ensure accurate inventory data for Floward's e‑commerce operations in Egypt. This full‑time, on‑site position requires strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming items, verifying conformity with purchase orders.
- Perform month‑end duties such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Generate and submit reports on stock stagnancy, balances, and financial inventory metrics.
- Maintain a clean, organized inventory area and enforce safety procedures.
- Identify and resolve quantity discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to fulfill orders and manage returns.
- Assist the Category Management Department with new product code creation and availability checks.
- Track accuracy rates, defective items, and expiration dates to support quality control.
- Analyze supply‑chain data to prevent overstocking and out‑of‑stock situations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business operations, logistics, mathematics or a related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of inventory and warehouse experience, preferably in an e‑commerce environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Detail‑oriented, problem‑solver with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
