IT Architecture and Design Tech Lead

About the role

Vodafone Egypt is looking for an experienced IT Architecture and Design Tech Lead to act as the architecture authority across the IT organization. You will shape solution designs, align the local roadmap with group strategy, and ensure technology decisions support business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business and product requirements and define solutions that balance compliance, delivery time, and cost.
• Contribute to the technical solution architecture strategy and roadmap for Vodafone Egypt.
• Deliver end‑to‑end solution designs, including Statements of Work (SoW) and High‑Level Designs (HLD).
• Align the local IT roadmap with Vodafone Group architecture guidelines.
• Resolve technology disagreements among IT teams and audit/review IT processes and solutions.
• Lead technical design activities for major projects that impact revenue, cost savings, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Group Architecture teams, SMEs, and domain leads to adapt group initiatives to local targets.
• Participate in RFP and PoC processes for new platforms and make decisions to resolve technical conflicts.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in large‑scale IT architecture and design initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working with global architecture teams and aligning local roadmaps with group strategy.
• Capability to drive technical decisions and resolve conflicts across delivery functions.
