IT Associate

About the role

The IT Associate provides responsive Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end‑users in Cairo, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software and Microsoft 365 services. The role also assists with network, telephony and IT infrastructure tasks while following security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to onsite and remote users, including hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, printers, peripherals and operating systems.
• Administer user accounts, password resets, access permissions and Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, wireless access points and basic firewall settings.
• Support IP PBX/VoIP systems, configure extensions, call routing and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Monitor backups, assist with patch management and keep IT asset inventory up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Digital or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in IT support or a digital service‑desk environment.
• Native‑level spoken and written English; Arabic fluency is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle a high volume of requests and prioritize incidents.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (users, shared mailboxes, groups, licensing).
• Azure / Entra ID administration tools.
• LAN/WAN networking, switches, wireless access points and basic firewall configuration.
• IP PBX/VoIP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Backup monitoring, patch management and IT asset inventory.
• Familiarity with HubSpot and Power BI is advantageous.
