IT Help Desk Specialist – Technical Support for End‑Users

About the role

Provide first‑class technical support to end‑users via phone, email and in‑person, handling hardware and software issues efficiently. You will ensure reliable IT services across the organization while educating users on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑class technical support to end‑users via phone, email, and in‑person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, ensuring reliable access for all users.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and other relevant systems.
• Document all support interactions, resolutions, and processes within the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex issues and infrastructure projects.
• Educate users on best practices for IT security and system usage.

Required profile

• A strong foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology principles.
• Proven expertise in providing technical support and advanced troubleshooting.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency with operating systems including Windows and macOS.
• Experience with hardware/software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in an IT Help Desk or similar support role.
• Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve problem‑solving scenarios.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite.
