IT Operations Expert

About the role

LEONI EGYPT is seeking an IT Operations Expert to manage and maintain its IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operations across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and end‑user devices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage servers, storage systems, VMware vSphere, network equipment and end‑user devices.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, File Services and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor performance, backups, security events and implement cybersecurity best practices.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot switches, wireless networks and IP telephony solutions.
• Coordinate backup procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Support cloud‑based and hybrid environments and handle incidents via ITSM processes.
• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures and regular system health reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations or system administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365 Administration.
• VMware vSphere, storage systems, backup solutions.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networks.
• Cisco networking equipment, IP telephony systems.
• Cloud technologies – Microsoft Azure.
