About the role
The Senior IT Security Specialist will strengthen the bank’s application and network security posture. You will work in a critical network environment, focusing on security operations, implementation, and incident handling to protect digital assets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application security standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Manage and tune application security tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Perform security testing using tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Fortify, Checkmarx, and SonarQube.
- Investigate and respond to application security incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding principles and DevSecOps practices.
- Support container security and micro‑services architecture assessments.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a critical network operational environment.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
- Hands‑on experience with security solutions across firewalls, IPS, VPN, MFA, WAF, PAM, IAM, web proxies, sandboxing, email gateways, EDR and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing, switching, LAN, WAN and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of mobile application security for iOS and Android is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GWAPT, CSSLP) are advantageous.
