About the role
PowerLube, a leading distributor of ExxonMobil lubricants in Egypt, is seeking a reliable IT Specialist to join its Obour City office. The role is full-time and on-site, providing immediate technical support and ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of the company’s IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and business applications.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software and operating systems.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and user‑access permissions.
- Monitor and support LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, switches, routers and internet connections.
- Assist in managing Fortinet firewalls, switches, FortiClient EMS, endpoint security and Zero Trust access.
- Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, corporate email, licences and user permissions.
- Monitor servers, backups, storage, system performance and recovery procedures.
- Maintain endpoint protection, software updates, patching and cybersecurity controls.
- Support IP cameras, attendance systems, access‑control systems and other office technologies.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, licences, warranties and assigned equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents, escalating critical issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, purchasing and technical support.
- Prepare and maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, incident records and support reports.
- Train employees on IT systems, cybersecurity awareness and safe technology practices.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, access controls and data‑protection requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant IT support or system‑administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and Microsoft 365.
- Practical experience with firewalls, switches, VPNs, endpoint protection, backup and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Fortinet products is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, SAP, virtualization or cloud services is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
