IT Specialist – Technical Support & System Maintenance

About the role

OPEX Egypt is looking for an IT Specialist to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of its hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The role involves both on‑site assistance for employees and remote troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for on‑site and remote staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and cloud environments.
• Monitor LAN/WAN performance, manage firewalls, and ensure reliable Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity.
• Administer user access, enforce security protocols, apply software patches, and perform regular data backups.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date hardware inventory and support vendor and asset management activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical support or system administration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
