Junior AI Engineer - Computer Vision

About the role

InnovationTeam is looking for a Junior AI Engineer specialized in Computer Vision to design, develop, and deploy image and video analytics solutions in production environments. You will work remotely with cross‑functional teams to turn research prototypes into scalable, real‑world AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and train computer vision models for object detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking.
• Prepare and manage datasets, including cleaning, labeling, and augmentation.
• Optimize models for GPU performance, inference speed, and scalability.
• Deploy models as APIs or containerized services and integrate them into broader analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure code quality and reproducibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML with a focus on computer vision.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of computer‑vision concepts, CNN architectures and modern CV frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Deep‑learning libraries: PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Computer‑vision libraries: OpenCV.
• Object‑detection and segmentation frameworks such as YOLO and Detectron2.
• Docker and basic MLOps practices.
• GPU‑based training and inference.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
