Junior BBQ Chef – Grilling & Events

About the role

BBQ Mood is looking for a passionate Junior Chef to join its fast‑moving kitchen team. You will help create memorable BBQ experiences for guests at live events, activations, and in‑house service while learning a variety of grilling techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking BBQ items, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Support senior chefs during live BBQ setups, events, and activations.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as cutting, marinating, and seasoning with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and prep areas.
• Help set up BBQ kits and ensure all equipment is ready for each experience.
• Learn and apply different grilling methods, including charcoal, gas, and smoking.
• Contribute ideas to improve taste, presentation, and overall guest experience.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Strong passion for cooking, especially BBQ and grilled foods.
• Eagerness to learn quickly and grow within a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work under pressure during events and tight timelines.
• Team‑player attitude with a positive outlook.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and outdoor events.
