Junior BIM Drafting Engineer – Scan to BIM

About the role
GEOBIRO Ltd. is seeking a Junior BIM Drafting Engineer to join its Alexandria office. The role focuses on converting laser‑scanned point clouds into accurate as‑built 3D models using Revit, supporting the company’s Scan‑to‑BIM services for architecture and construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D as‑built drawings in Revit from point‑cloud data.
- Update models to reflect client changes or site modifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to resolve design issues.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality‑control standards and project deadlines.
- Identify and troubleshoot drawing problems, addressing QC reports promptly.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work on‑site in Alexandria.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience with point‑cloud drafting is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Recap for point‑cloud processing.
