Junior Inspection Technician – Entry Level

About the role

NOV Egypt is seeking fresh or early‑career candidates to join its Inspection Trainee Program as a Junior Inspection Technician. The position provides hands‑on field experience supporting NDT and lifting inspectors, with structured internal training and certification based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist NDT Inspectors with Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Visual Testing (VT) under supervision.
• Support Lifting Inspectors in inspection and verification of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Participate in field and workshop inspection activities and help prepare inspection reports.
• Prepare, verify and handle NDT and inspection equipment, including setup, basic maintenance and operational checks.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards and HSE policies.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical engineering or equivalent higher technical education.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to work in field and workshop environments with strong safety awareness.
