Junior Inspection Technician – NDT & Lifting Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Inspection Technician to join NOV Egypt’s Inspection Trainee Program. The role offers hands‑on field experience supporting Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) and lifting equipment inspections, with structured training and certification opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist NDT Inspectors with Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Visual Testing (VT) under supervision.
• Support Lifting Inspectors in the inspection and verification of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Participate in field and workshop inspection activities and help prepare inspection reports.
• Handle, verify and maintain NDT and inspection equipment, including setup and basic maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards and HSE policies.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical engineering or equivalent higher technical education.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to work in field and workshop environments with strong safety awareness.
