Junior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer – Offshore Subsea

About the role

Progeco Group is seeking junior engineers to join its Offshore & Subsea Engineering team in New Cairo, supporting control and automation systems for subsea infrastructure and production equipment on international oil & gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to subsea control or production systems, including review of technical documentation and specifications.
• Assist in verification, development and coordination of control, automation and mechanical equipment packages.
• Interface with suppliers, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, participate in technical meetings and monitor project progress.
• Ensure compliance of documentation with project requirements and support procurement and execution activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Control, Mechanical, Energy or Marine Engineering.
• 1‑5 years of experience in oil & gas, offshore or energy environments.
• Strong communication, teamwork and analytical skills, with interest in offshore and subsea engineering.

Required skills

• PLC, DCS, SCADA and industrial automation systems.
• Mechanical equipment, pipelines, flowlines, risers and subsea systems.
