Junior Process Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in 10th of Ramadan City. The role combines mechanical engineering expertise with hands‑on work on the production floor to improve efficiency, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production lines, proposing cost‑effective solutions.
• Monitor and reduce defect rates, preparing weekly reports for process meetings.
• Support machine and equipment upgrades, ensuring optimal operation.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues in real time.
• Perform hands‑on testing, adjustments, and repairs directly on the line.
• Maintain continuous monitoring, maintenance and adjustments to keep production flow smooth.
• Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance and R&D teams.
• Track project timelines and ensure mechanical improvements are implemented on schedule.
• Ensure all mechanical processes comply with safety regulations.
• Assist R&D in developing new products, providing technical feedback during design and testing.
• Lead validation of new materials to meet quality, performance and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with hands‑on process improvement.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, process optimization and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
