Junior QA/QC Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior QA/QC Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The role focuses on ensuring that civil works on‑site meet project specifications, drawings and method statements through rigorous inspections and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, approved drawings and method statements.
• Perform and witness field tests such as soil compaction, concrete slump and cube tests, and reinforcement inspections.
• Prepare and manage Site Inspection Requests (MIRs/WIRs) and coordinate follow‑up with the consultant.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue internal NCRs and supervise corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain detailed quality control logs and documentation required for project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on site experience in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures, material testing standards and site execution practices.

Required skills

• Soil compaction testing.
