About the role
As a Junior Sea Logistics Sales Representative you will contribute to Kuehne+Nagel's growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing SME accounts within the sea freight business. Your work will help build reliable veterinary supply chains, ensuring pets worldwide receive the care they need.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and acquire new customers for Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) services.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of small and medium‑sized enterprises by delivering tailored sea logistics solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision‑makers and influencers.
- Drive upselling, cross‑selling and new business opportunities across accounts.
- Maintain a transparent sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and support RFQs and tenders.
- Ensure data quality for customers, opportunities and stakeholders in internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise engagement and conversion rates.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Business or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, account management or business development within logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing SME accounts.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Required skills
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of sea logistics products, solutions and commercial processes.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, RFQs and tender procedures.
