Junior Software Developer (Web & Microservices)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join a cross‑functional team that builds web and microservice‑based applications. You will work with .NET Core on the backend and React on the frontend, receiving mentorship from senior engineers while contributing to scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing new features for web and microservice applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code under supervision.
• Support integration with RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps throughout the software lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Apply basic software design principles and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience or internships in software development.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core (including ASP.NET Core Web API).
• React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• Relational databases and SQL fundamentals.
• Object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or LINQ.
• Basic knowledge of Git version control.
• Awareness of Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to Docker or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
