Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Dubizzle Egypt, the leading online classifieds marketplace in the region, is looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist in Cairo. You will coordinate recruitment activity and support the business by applying traditional and modern sourcing strategies to hire the best talent while living the company's values.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and engagement: use headhunting, advertising, social media and internal referrals to find local talent, and work with the hiring team on open roles
• Screen and shortlist candidates via telephone and online interviews, give weekly feedback to line managers, follow up unsuccessful applicants and update recruitment trackers
• Conduct role-applicable assessments and run employer branding and university relations activities
• Maintain candidate relationships, keep the ATS updated and save shortlisted candidates for the pipeline
• Weekly reporting with the Senior Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Manager on progress, candidate quality and strategy
• Coordinate university graduate recruiting, build recruitment networks with local and regional contacts, manage recruitment agency relationships and scan recruitment documents into the ATS

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• 1-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
• Experience in the online classifieds or e-commerce sector is a plus; tech recruitment knowledge is a plus
• Minimum experience sourcing talent across a wide range of channels, ideally in digital/tech/mobile apps
• Ability to work independently and in a diverse group, with strong organisation, prioritisation and communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong internet research and social media recruitment skills
