Key Account Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Sales Manager to lead and grow our strategic client relationships within the construction sector. The role combines relationship management, market analysis, and sales strategy to drive revenue and ensure client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key construction industry clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and create strategies to increase sales to existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions and ensure product and service satisfaction.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and account reviews to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability while meeting client needs.
• Work with marketing to align promotional strategies with client expectations.
• Lead client onboarding, product launches, and issue‑resolution projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 10 years of sales or account‑management experience, preferably in the construction sector.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from sales data.
• Self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
