Kitchen Technician

About the role

Accor is seeking a Kitchen Technician to join its hospitality team. The role involves maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment across our hotels and restaurants, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all work according to instructions, specifications and company standards.
• Liaise with supervisors on daily operational needs, achievements and improvements.
• Work unsociable hours or overtime as required.
• Identify faults on kitchen equipment, troubleshoot and carry out repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on equipment as directed.
• Maintain accurate reporting, time‑keeping and the highest personal hygiene standards.
• Assist team members and ensure professional handling of any issues.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with internal clients and managers.
• Handle complaints or suggestions promptly and positively.
• Participate in regular toolbox talks and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with the HSE management system and report accidents, fire, theft or damage immediately.
• Follow policies and procedures set by the Chief Engineer and take part in emergency response teams.
