Landscape Assistant Manager

About the role

The Landscape Assistant Manager will support daily site operations, ensuring that all landscape works align with approved designs, project scope, and quality standards. You will act as a liaison between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and maintain high horticultural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support management of daily landscape site activities, ensuring compliance with design and quality specifications.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal departments for timely delivery and installation of landscaping elements.
• Supervise planting, soil preparation, turfing, and irrigation installation to guarantee horticultural quality and sustainability.
• Assist with hardscape installations such as walkways, paving, lighting, and outdoor furniture.
• Conduct routine site inspections, identify issues, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock‑ups in coordination with senior management.
• Support irrigation system installation, working closely with MEP teams.
• Help with workforce planning, task allocation, and scheduling to meet project timelines.
• Liaise with head office, consultants, and stakeholders to provide updates and maintain alignment.
• Assist in implementing landscape maintenance programs during handover and post‑installation phases.
• Prepare progress reports highlighting risks, delays, and material needs.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards while promoting sustainable practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Landscape Engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years of hands‑on landscape site management on large‑scale real‑estate or hospitality projects.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and self‑motivated with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and planting techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape drawings, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Understanding of construction coordination and site execution processes.
