Last Mile Manager

About the role

Lead Spinneys Egypt's last‑mile delivery operations, overseeing more than 2,000 daily orders. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery performance from store exit to the customer doorstep, managing third‑party logistics providers, an owned fleet, network design and rapid delivery expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure on‑time delivery, low complaint and damage rates.
• Reduce cost per order while maintaining service quality.
• Manage 3PL providers, negotiate SLAs and monitor performance.
• Optimize owned fleet utilization, driver productivity and shift planning.
• Design coverage zones, capacity plans, demand forecasts and support new market launches.
• Lead nationwide rollout of instant delivery, defining operating models and SLA targets.
• Minimize failed deliveries and product damage to improve customer experience.
• Partner with Store Ops, E‑Commerce, Commercial, Finance and IT for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of leadership experience in e‑commerce, food delivery, quick commerce or grocery operations.
• 5+ years managing large‑scale last‑mile delivery operations.
• 3+ years overseeing 3PL vendors and/or owned fleet logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering (MBA preferred).
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, APICS CSCP, PMP or Lean are valued.
