Lead Electrical Engineer – Section 2

About the role

The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems of Section 2 at the 6 October Station. Reporting daily on‑site, the role ensures that all MEP works, dry network installations and material inspections meet the project’s quality and safety standards. The position works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with testing and commissioning standards. SYSTRA values sustainable mobility and expects the lead engineer to contribute to the project's digital and ecological transition.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily on‑site presentations and updates.
• Supervise MEP works in the station and bridge structures.
• Oversee the dry network installation and verification.
• Review and process Material Inspection Requests (MIR) for on‑site materials.
• Check Request for Inspection (RFI) daily for all ongoing works.
• Participate in QA/QC procedures.
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist in the preparation of works completion certificates.
• Verify As‑Built drawings and compile project completion documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of overall engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the rail or metro sector.
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong command of English.
