Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh is looking for a Learning and Development Manager who shares the company's passion for excellence and brings enthusiasm to everything they do. The role covers training, trainer management, learning needs analysis, vendor selection and property-wide change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Train and run key hotel and Four Seasons programs such as Embark orientation, service foundations, leadership behaviors, departmental standards, compliance and leadership development courses.
• Assign, train, manage and deploy trainers who develop peers' job-role techniques in line with FS standards.
• Train leaders to help them develop other employees, and study LQA/Forbes and third-party evaluation results to ensure service quality.
• Take part in operational improvements where learning helps, and enforce Four Seasons standards through testing and training.
• Plan and execute property-wide change initiatives, including service and company-wide change projects.
• Select and manage external vendors for specialized service and management training.
• Create a Learning Needs Analysis and Training Plan aligned to the property's goals and budget cycle, and set an annual budget for training programs and resources.
• Contribute to operations where needed and assist with employee events, policies, recruitment, interviewing, health and safety, community outreach, ordering and purchasing.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of managerial experience.
• Hotel operations experience, preferably at Four Seasons or another service environment, or adult education experience.
• Experience managing in diverse cultures.
• University education or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Strong administrative, communication, delegation and interpersonal skills.
