Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to help students with additional learning needs succeed. You will work closely with teachers to adapt lessons, monitor progress, and create an inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group support to students requiring extra assistance.
• Assist in delivering personalized learning programs tailored to individual needs.
• Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and engagement.
• Adapt teaching materials and resources to improve student understanding.
• Monitor student progress and give feedback to teaching staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in Education, Special Education, or related fields.
• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
