About the role
The German University in Cairo seeks highly qualified and motivated academics to join its Mathematics Department. The successful candidate will engage in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, lead research initiatives, supervise students, and contribute to departmental administration.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses.
- Develop and lead research projects in various mathematical fields.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research.
- Participate in departmental and university administrative duties.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in a mathematical discipline.
- Solid knowledge of mathematical methods applied to engineering.
- Demonstrated research excellence and a strong publication record.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
