Lecturer – Engineering Faculty (Automotive Mechatronics / Renewable Energy)

About the role

The Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ryada University invites applications for full‑time lecturer positions starting September 2026. Candidates will join either the Automotive Mechatronics Engineering program or the Renewable Energy Engineering program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct research projects, securing external funding where possible.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students, including theses, projects, and internships.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching for undergraduate and graduate courses in the relevant discipline.
• Develop new curricula, update existing courses, and participate in accreditation and quality‑assurance activities.
• Contribute to departmental administration and collaborate with partner universities on academic initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated teaching experience within a Faculty of Engineering.
• Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable peer‑reviewed journals (preferred).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and academic leadership abilities.
