Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Computer Science

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Egypt involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science. The successful candidate will design and deliver lectures, lead laboratory sessions, and provide academic advising and mentorship to students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, and discussion sessions.
• Develop, update, and align course materials with Canadian academic standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Participate in departmental activities, program development, committees, and accreditation processes.
• Potentially conduct research, supervise student projects, and engage with industry partners.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science with ability to teach core and emerging topics.
• Postgraduate degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated university‑level teaching experience and commitment to student‑centered learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international academic environment and communicate effectively in English.
• Research activity, industry experience, or professional certifications are a plus.
