About the role

The Faculty of Medicine at King Salman International University invites applications for Lecturer/Assistant Professor positions across a wide range of basic and clinical medical specialties. Successful candidates will join a dynamic academic community delivering an English‑medium integrated medical curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 2–3 undergraduate medical courses each semester.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and quality assurance activities.
• Advise, mentor, and supervise student projects and independent learning.
• Conduct research, publish in indexed journals, and engage in funded projects.
• Contribute to community service, outreach programs, and university committees.
• Prepare course materials, examinations, and supervise clinical training where applicable.
• Provide clinical services and bedside teaching in affiliated teaching hospitals for clinical departments.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized university.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency with educational technologies and computer‑assisted teaching.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: recent international publications, experience in curriculum development, participation in funded research, and leadership experience in higher education.
