Legal Advisor

About the role

WAJJAD is seeking a Legal Advisor to join its Cairo office. This full‑time, on‑site position will provide comprehensive legal support for the company’s technology platforms, governance frameworks, and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including technology, commercial and governance agreements.
• Identify and assess legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable Egyptian laws and regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
• Provide clear legal guidance to cross‑functional teams and handle labor and employment matters.
• Collaborate with external counsel as needed and monitor regulatory developments.
• Prepare concise reports and briefings for senior management.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent degree; admission to practice law in Egypt or another recognized jurisdiction is a strong advantage.
• Experience in corporate, commercial, or technology law, preferably within SaaS, platform or B2B environments.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law and experience managing related policies and disputes.
• Ability to analyze complex information, assess risk and present recommendations in business‑oriented language.
• High integrity, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is highly beneficial.
