Legal Counsel

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its legal department. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice, ensuring compliance with Egyptian laws and industry regulations, and supporting corporate governance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Offer legal guidance on commercial, regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Assist with compliance initiatives and corporate policy adherence.
• Support litigation management and dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate legal considerations into business decisions.
• Monitor legal developments relevant to the pharmaceutical sector and advise senior management.
• Participate in corporate governance activities and prepare regulatory filings as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); a master’s or certificate in corporate/commercial law is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Legal Counsel or in a similar senior legal role.
• Deep knowledge of Egyptian commercial and regulatory law.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex legal issues.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Independent worker capable of managing multiple priorities.
