Legal Professional – Civil & Commercial Law (Saudi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Professional specialized in Civil or Commercial Law to join a reputable Saudi law firm’s Egypt office. The role focuses on legal research, drafting, and litigation support related to Saudi legislation and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth legal research on Saudi laws and prepare comprehensive studies and reports.
• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, contracts, and official correspondence in Arabic.
• Support litigation preparation, including case documentation and evidence organization.
• Review and analyse legal documents, case files, and Saudi legal citations.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal records and perform additional research tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum overall grade of “Very Good”.
• Master’s degree or two postgraduate diplomas in Civil and Commercial Law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil/commercial litigation or within the Ministry of Justice/judicial sector.
• Strong familiarity with the works of prominent Saudi jurists such as Al‑Sanhouri, Al‑Tamawi, Samia Al‑Qalyubi, and Ahmed Abu Al‑Wafa.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using AI tools for legal research and document drafting.
• Excellent Arabic legal drafting and writing abilities.
• Solid analytical and research capabilities with a good understanding of Saudi legal citation methods.
