Legal Specialist – Telecom & Corporate Law

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Specialist to join our team and support commercial activities across the telecommunications, IT, cloud, and infrastructure sectors in Egypt. The role involves reviewing contracts, managing disputes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and drafting of commercial contracts, supporting bidding, tendering, and negotiations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and legal risks in line with Egyptian Telecom Law, NTRA regulations, and Consumer Protection Law.
• Manage corporate disputes and develop legal strategies to protect financial and reputational interests.
• Oversee corporate seal and ITIDA‑certified electronic seal governance, performing audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain and audit the Delegation of Authority matrix and Power of Attorney registry.
• Provide regulatory insights, deliver legal training, and promote a culture of compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a reputable Egyptian or recognized international university.
• Admission to the Egyptian Bar Association (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification legal experience, preferably in a top‑tier law firm or multinational corporation.
• Experience in telecommunications, IT, cloud/data centre, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.
