Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach

About the role

Rixos Premium Seagate is seeking a professional Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests in its pool and beach areas. You will monitor water activities, respond to emergencies, and support the hotel’s health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Constantly supervise the hotel pool and beach to prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain and update all safety signage in the assigned area.
• Hold a valid governmental Lifeguard certificate and keep it renewed.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and manage drowning situations according to established protocols.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed and perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
• Support the hotel’s quality, food‑safety, and environmental initiatives, including waste reduction and energy‑saving measures.

Required profile

• Minimum high school or vocational diploma.
• At least 2 years of lifeguarding experience in a hotel or resort setting.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for effective communication with guests and staff.
• Strong knowledge of first‑aid procedures and emergency response.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification (government‑issued).
• First‑aid certification and practical skills.
• Fitness program design and instruction.
