Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach Safety

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety of our guests at the hotel’s pool and beach areas. You will be the first line of defense against drowning incidents and will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool and beach zones continuously to prevent drowning and other water‑related hazards.
• Keep all safety signage up‑to‑date and clearly visible.
• Maintain a valid governmental lifeguard certification and renew it as required.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and respond promptly to any emergency situations.
• Assist in other club areas as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
• Support the hotel’s fitness program by conducting basic fitness testing and instruction when required.

Required profile

• Vocational college diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional lifeguarding experience.
• Current government‑issued lifeguard certificate.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic sufficient for guest and staff communication.
• Completion of relevant professional trainings and certifications.

Required skills

• Use of standard lifeguard tools and equipment.
• Basic first‑aid and water‑rescue techniques.
