Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach Safety

About the role

Join a leading hotel within the Accor network as a Lifeguard responsible for the safety of guests in both pool and beach areas. You will ensure a secure environment, respond swiftly to emergencies, and support the overall health, safety, and hygiene standards of the club.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor hotel pool and beach areas continuously to prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain and update all safety signage in the assigned zones.
• Hold a valid governmental lifeguard certification and renew it as required.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and manage drowning situations effectively.
• Assist in other club areas as needed and perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
• Support a professional fitness program, including fitness testing, evaluations, and instruction.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene policies and maintain cleaning standards.

Required profile

• Vocational college diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of lifeguarding or related safety experience.
• Proficient in English and Arabic for clear communication with guests and staff.
• Completed professional trainings, seminars, and certifications relevant to lifeguarding.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification (government‑issued).
• First Aid certification and practical knowledge.
• Operation of basic rescue equipment and tools.
